Hello, my friends! It's me! Dace! Back with some updates and other fun things. First off, Table Champs (our first physical game) officially goes on sale next week! Here's a sneak peek at the manuals...

Yes, yes! It's all very exciting! You'll be hearing plenty about Table Champs on our socials (courtesy of Captain Max), and I'll be posting here next week with an in-depth look at the game, along with some links on where to buy it!
It's been quite the process getting Table Champs on its feet (you can read about its early rendition here) and there's still so much work ahead, but it's totally worth it.
Now, on to the fun, free thing I have for you today!
A Game of Adventure & Alchemy
Did that get your attention?
It's the title of a free game I recently published over on itch.io as a submission to a TTRPG game jam.
"What's a game jam," you say? I'm so glad you asked!
Game jams are sometimes-big-sometimes-small contests where game designers develop a game in a short period of time.
You're typically provided a set of rules and themes to follow, with anywhere from a day to a week to a month to complete your project.
Sometimes you win stuff, and sometimes it's just a pat on the back for a job well done, but if you know me, you know I didn't get into the indie-TTRPG biz for the money.
Love what you do, kids. Anyway, A Game of Adventure & Alchemy is actually not a title I came up with, as the game jam I participated in had you pick from a list of titles and brief prompts to create a game from. I chose the prompt "a game of Adventure & Alchemy" because it stuck out to me as equal parts retro-fantasy and occult mystery---two genres that give my brain happy thoughts Here's the title page!

I was late to the game jam by about a month and a half, so I only had around two weeks to make it, but the whole kit-and-caboodle only took around 10-11 hours to make.
That's not me being overly-confident, by the way, it's just how my brain works---once I'm into something I'M INTO SOMETHING. If you're interested in the game, you can download it for free here.
Play it on your own or with a friend or two---just so long as you have fun!
You can also get it for a three-dollar donation, but that is absolutely not required.
The greatest honor would be to have someone play it....
...or read or just download it and forget about it. Whatever works! Until next time, happy rolling! - Dace
